Help needed with Elixir ELX-12 wiring
« on: July 06, 2009, 05:30:13 PM »
Hi ...
I had a new ELX-12 installed at the end of last year,  I only camped with hookups over the winter and now discover as we are dry camping that the CO2 detector and the refrigerator are not working. I can see that the two live leads from these devices are connected to each other .... but nothing else. I am hoping someone can tell me what the connections out of the converter should be used for this. There is no wiring diagram that came with the converter - from the shop. My PUP is only a very small starcraft.

I am loathe to go "testing" connections without first trying to find out what exists out there by way of knowledge.

Hi Tim,
On the back of your converter you should have a blue, a white, a yellow, a red and a brown wire.
According to the manual I found online for  Elixer ELX-12 through ELX-30 models the blue, brown and yellow wires are 12 feeds for your lights, pumps sensors etc.
The Red goes to your battery POSITIVE and the White goes to your battery NEGATIVE.
Then manual can be found at:

07 Chevy Trailblazer
