Here is a few photos from our first trip in our 1988 Skamper taken from the camp site in Cuyamaca, CA at Paso Picacho camp grounds.

The weather was 80 deg's at night and 107in the day  [:(O] but still had a great time and we are planning our next trip for August.

Looks a heck of a lot like my 97, other than the color!  Enjoy it!

Hi there.
I just bought a 1988 Skamper that looks identical to yours,  albeit not in as good of shape.   The main cable is frayed a little.   Have you experienced any issues similar to this?  And do you have any words of advise?  A friend and I took it out this past weekend and had an absolute blast but it's ages concerns me a little and I feel like it should be pampered.
