Just got a new to me 2006 popup.
Greetings from Missouri. My wife and I just bought a 2006 Fleetwood Niagara. It's by far the biggest and nicest of the 3 pop-ups I have owned.

Palomino Pony owners manual and parts source(s)
« on: April 13, 2010, 09:34:37 AM »
I'm looking for an owners manual for a 1985 Palomino Pony any help is much appreciated!  Manufacturer no longer has them.

I'm also looking for a parts/accessories source(s).  In specific, I'm looking to replace the springs & cables for the 4 roof supports (it's an extremal hinger) and also one of the lift handles is missing.  Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ed

Think maybe this is what you are looking for as far as parts go.

Perfect!  That should cover the springs.  Now the only thing I need to know is how to install them.

All 4 of mine are shot and the cables are either broken or missing.

Along with looking for an owners manual, is their a service manual available? (IE Chilton, Haynes, etc)

There really isn't anything that I know of specific to pop ups.

Amazon listing for Camper Repair

Your two best bets are scroll down to lift systems and post you questions there and to do a bit of "reverse" engineering. Take lots of photos before, during and after your repair.

if your lift arms are good, but the cables are bad, you can replace them cheep with standard cable found at a hardware store.  The big concern is if you can remove the old ones, on mine the walls and roof was rotted at the bolts thus making it imposable to remove.  I had to rebuild mine.  any questions on it pm me.  I'm rebuilding my 84 pony.  Also got to rebuild area of the site, there are 2 of us that just rebuilt there pony's, one is a off-road build, and one is a stock (sorta) rebuild
good luck
