New to the forum. Just purchased a 1989 Coleman Chesapeake in great condition. It has a few minor parts that need replacement. I found the owners manual here but could not find a parts manual.
I'm the kind of guy that likes ot work on his own stuff. I just got off the phone with a rude rep at FTCA who tells me that there is no way to get a parts catalog for my trailer and that only the dealers have access to this info. He seemed shocked that I was upset about not being able to research what parts I may need prior to purchasing them from the dealer!
Anyone know where I can get a parts catalog for this model camper? He said the dealers have access to it on the internet.
He explained that the reps are very good at identifying parts. The closest dealer to me is 80 miles away and i'd like to be able to see a picture of the part that i'm buying, as well as see if there are other associated parts that i'm missing before a dealer rep decides to tell me what he thinks I need!!!
