Just got a new to me 2006 popup.
Greetings from Missouri. My wife and I just bought a 2006 Fleetwood Niagara. It's by far the biggest and nicest of the 3 pop-ups I have owned.

I use these, although I bought a bag of like 100 for under $10. Forgot where, but they are great because I clip onto the awning, and snap the light cord into the other end. Also safe to leave on the awning!!

Clothes pins but not the cheap plastic ones that you get a dozen for a dollar. These won't work well. We've also used those black report clips, I like to use the ones that are about 2 inches.

We use rope lights so the wrap around the top horizontal poles to the right and left and I use a "S" type hook to connect them back to themselves.

I like the rope light idea. Last year, I bought a set of patio lights, the kind with little round glass bulbs about 2" round, and found these a mess to work with as these were very fragile. I broke severa of the lights just trying to hang them. The patio lights that we all have grown to love or hate, aren't what they used to be, rather small. Rope lighting, now does this give off enough light?

The rope light works very well for us, plenty of light.

I have power at the center of the pup body (centered under the awning) so I run the power line straight up to the the center pole. The lights start at the pup and run down the center pole and then "T" across the front of the awning and loop over the two outer poles (one right and one left

The rope lights and clips were all part of a set purchased at wally world for an easy-up.

i bought badge holders...the plastic loop stays on the strand of lights for storage, then just clip them to the awning during set up.

Binder clips also... I actually have extra in the camper and usually convert someone new to camping with us to using them also.  They are cheap, durable, and never come off the awning.

Oddly enough you can buy stainless steel hangars specifically for the lights at the Sportsman Guild website. In the camping section, or search for JR Products Party Lite Hangars.

Look more closely ...  got two different hanging lights...  one set contains colored shells and the other set contains colored trout fishes...   maybe too small to for you to see but it was around 8 pm when it was getting dark...

Here is how we do our rope lights

We have found the rope lights work very well for us. Good light under the awning but the light doesn't carry to far out near the fire.

I saw the rope lights at WalMart...  are they the same at Wally World?

We use 8 inch velcro straps. They work well and store easily!
