Replacing shower curtain in Starcraft
« on: August 07, 2007, 06:13:31 PM »
Hi, another newbie here.  We just got our Starcraft (2007) with shower/potty combo.  We have been out twice now and used the potty a bunch, but haven't used the shower yet.  The curtain that came with it (the PUP is used, but the curtain is the original) weighs a TON and is so bulky and hard to move around.  So I took it out and replaced it with a waterproof fabric one, which is much lighter, but it isn't quite long enough.  So we still haven't used the shower, but want to be able to.  I really don't want to put the industrial sized one back in, but not sure what the remedy is.  I guess I can buy a second fabric one and sew them together verttically, then cut off the excess.

What do you all do?  The one that came with it just seems like shower curtain overkill.  It is so heavy that it was stretching out the metal clips that hold it, too.

Thanks for the advice!!!!

Nancy and Kevin

If you can't find one long enough the best bet would be to tape or stitch two together. I'm surprised that the curtain is so heavy...the one that came with our Flagstaff is heavy-duty but not overly heavy or bulky.

Get some bungee type material or maybe zipties and lengthen the area where it attaches at the top.
