I found a Jayco Qwest on FB for $1000. It looks like it’s the 12A model, whatever that’s worth.

Seller said propane hookup is missing, but works when plugged in.

I don’t care about the propane. We wouldn’t cook inside and the fridge is 3 way.

Is the price reasonable? It seems low to me so I’m concerned. Thank you for any help!

Welcome to the Portal from South Carolina. Depends on condition. Plenty of pre-purchase tips and what to look for here on the Portal.

    Hello and welcome from Minnesota!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to give you an answer without personal inspection.

If it is a perfect camper, then yes. If the floor, ceiling or sides are rotted, then absolutely not.

Welcome from Oklahoma. Besides what was previously said, the area of the country really effects price.

Welcome from northern Virginia. $1000 does sound low to me too so be sure to look it over top to bottom and in and out. Pretend you are an in -partial inspector and don't feel pressured to buy.

As stated there is no way to know how the price relates to the camper.
1)Condition and location of the camper.
2)What kind of camping are you planning?
3)What repairs are you comfortable making?
4)What's the total investment you are willing to make?
5)Add at least 10% to that or stay at least 10% under that because it's going to cost you and bit more than you think.
Also PUP that are beyond feasible repair can be stripped for usable parts and the frame makes a rather nice utility trailer.
There's a thread on here where someone turned a PUP into a hybrid. I've also seen one stripped down and used for a teardrop camper frame with an over vehicle tent.
