Lol, that was our first pop-up, a 1969 Nimrod, very basic but cost us $100 and fit our needs at the time. Unfortunately, a bad snow storm collapsed the roof and I converted it to a utility trailer. When I sold it the buyer was going to convert it back to a pop-up, wonder how that went...

    Two thoughts:

    1) No pictures of the actual unit. That is a major red flag when shopping Craig's List. It may be legit, but I'm immediately suspicious.

    2) If it is legit, I'd love to think I could salvage it; it's just TOO cool! Canvas would be a major deciding factor. If I had to buy all new canvas AND rework the axle ... I'd probably build a whole new trailer from scratch to match up with the new canvas.

    Still cool as brass underwear!

How does the roof work? I don't see any external supports and I can't imagine that it's as complex as a goshen or whiffletree lift.

Oh I realize it looks a bit sketchy but I know the neighborhood. The town of Concord Ma. is full of old homes where generations of family still living in the home can date back to Country's beginning. If I had some cash to play with I would be trying to get a better look.

I believe that the average price of a home in Concord MA is over 1000000.00

ya thats for the ones that get sold. The old family ones go much higher. I worked in the area for over 20 years. I know of a house that the new owners paid almost a million for just for the Land and bulldozed the just rebuilt cape to build a McMansion. Anyway if I could I would be chasing that camper.

Bugs bunny turned Nimrod into an insult.

Nimrod means great hunter. Bugs Bunny would call Elmer Fudd a Nimrod in a funny tone.
