So we got this ol' girl a couple months ago, but I've recently had back surgery so finishing her up hasn't been that easy. I did however get to finishing my curtains, that I made out of $4 flat sheets from Walmart. That, my friends, puts a big smile on my face! Lol the previous owner had started "remodeling" but we had to re-do what they did because there had been water damage:( so here are some before pics [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    And here are some after

It's still not done. We have those peel and stick that we have to lay down yet, but plan to be camping within the nxt couple wks!:D

Working through back injuries and surgeries can be tough... I have enough non-stock hardware in my back to prove that. I really like where this trailer is headed!!!

I really like it, the curtains are pretty too. Did you paint the cabinets/wood? I am thinking of painting ours next season, getting tired of the ever pealing plastic paper on them but I am also really leery about painting because we have damaged wood that I might not be able to replace.

Yes, I painted the cabinets, which were laminated with a dark wood covering. It was horrible! So far, seems to be holding up. All we did was sanded it first, basically until the shine was off, primed, then painted. Now, just to figure out HOW it's wired for tail lights:/ whoever wired it before, yikes. I think we are just going to rewire it completely new...might as well right!?:)

    Looks great!

Do you have any problem with the curtains getting a wrinkle from when the camper is down?

Jdy2, we haven't put it down since putting the curtains up. We plan on taking them down and laying them flat on the slide out beds. I don't think they'll get too bad.

Jdy2, the curtains held up pretty nicely when the PUP was put down. Few wrinkles, but after being up all day they have straightened out.

There are the final pics. We are now only searching for a faucet that will fit our already drilled holes. All we have seen seem too big!

THANKS EVERYONE!! It's definitely rewarding for all our work. Now if the weather would just clear up so we can take it out for a test run!
