I'm a long time lurker, first time poster on here. We've had our Avalon for 3 years, I tackled the curtains, valance and cushions during our first year but now I'm interested in updating the cabinets and flooring. My husband is not on board with this because it has too many unknowns so hopefully someone here has done a paint job on the same or similar popup, specifically with a slide out and shower. How did you paint in between the slide, those half walls? Did you take out the cabinets? How did you paint the metal surrounding the shower? How about the 'plastic' part of the shower door? Take out the microwave and oven or tape and paint around? Am I biting off more than I can chew? Is this a bad idea? We have 5 weeks before our next trip. I know all the sanding, priming and painting involved...its just getting to that point!!

That's a lot of work to get in before your trip.
