So, I have tons on time on my hands now, (I am unemployed again), and Snow is enticing me with a road trip to Burger World today, so I'm trying to get that all out of my mind. Without jumping the gun here, and its a long way away, but I've just been looking at the sites in arrowhead, and I'm partial to #412. I think Tina would like the PM sun on that one.

While it'll be a busy weekend work wise for me, I look forward to meeting you all! Any one know what the cell service is like there?

Snow would be the best one to know about the cell service there. He's probably been there more times than anyone else of the group, (I'm guessing). I know at my mom's which is about an hour north on there, the cell service is good. They've made a lot of improvements to the service up there.

Cell service was intermittent when we were there for 6 nights in September this year.

I know they’ve greatly improved the cell service along highway 60. I used to live up there and the service wasn’t bad but I haven’t been in the park in years.

Telus/Bell cell service from my usual site there is great (not sure about Rogers or those piggy backing off of Rogers Towers), so guessing the rest of the park is fairly stable and reliable. Much better then the cell service at my house.. Where I have to stand in the right spot, facing the right way just to get 1 bar...

So a bit early for all this and I'm sure there will be changes but here is an early breakdown of things..

Friday night, there will be the usual meet and greet campfire.
Saturday as usual I will have the all day fire going, so bring your chair, beverages of choice and stay as long or as little as you want. As of right now Saturdays campfire will be at my site..
Sunday will be the potluck (will start a planning thread for that sometime in April or May) at one site, followed by the campfire at another site. Seems to have worked good in the past with a large group, enables everyone to clean up from dinner, put leftovers away etc. and then grab their stuff and head to the fire.
Monday will largely be played by ear.

This seems to have worked pretty good in the past as well, those not hosting a campfire, please bring a wood donation for the nights fires that your going to attend.

Of course all this may change once the bride and groom return from their family trip.. Not sure what day it is they have planned for the ceremony.

Hey y'all! We are back from the sunny and very warm south! I was very ready to come back to much more snow then this but alas.....it's all you had for us!
The trip was good and Brian & Amy thoroughly enjoyed their first trip to Disney World.....much has changed after 30 years!

Our ceremony is going to be on the Sunday, June 30th, so that is a great day for the potluck! We can host the Friday fire. I haven't looked at sites yet but will before Christmas.

I picked Site #412 back on post 42 of this thread. I do think it would be good for our 2 sites to be close to each other.

I have it narrowed down to 403, 405, 415 or 422. Nothing like being specific eh!
