Be warned Dutch Blitz can get dangerous
Looking forward to it! I think that we could all use a little danger in our lives!
Found this Dutch Blitz demo:
Haven't heard officially if anyone is coming for a visit. . Think we'll just do a byof dinner maybe Saturday night ...
Fuel truck driver probably lives in Brampton. .
Anyone know if there’s an organic bin for the garbage?
Unlike Algonquin Park, Restoule has no mention of a garbage composting program on there website, so I don’t think they have an organic bin.
ya I looked too but may bring a couple of bags just in case. I got the camper 90% packed today while it was sunny.
So, I guess thats next weekend already. Time flies when you're healing from all the health problems! We will be up there next weekend, and I will try to make the 20 mins trip over to the park. You never fully know what you're gonna run into for projects at my mom's, so I can't guarantee anything. I'll keep in touch with Snow during the weekend as to weather I can find a free afternoon to stop in for a visit.
So, another double post here, by me this time. I've edited the double post into this now. The site has been doing funky things for the last few days, and Steve said that he re-booted the site server to try and fix things up, but it still seems somewhat screwy.
I’m looking forward to kicking of the season. I just wish the weather will be good. It’s not fun camping in the rain
Yes, it would be nice to start the season with at least some sun! Hopefully, the forecast will improve closer to the weekend. I just heard that there is wet snow expected in the Kitchener-Waterloo area tomorrow morning. BRRRR!
You are always welcome to join me in my Aliner. We can play games—I’m looking forward to learning Dutch Blitz. I always bring along a small electric fan/heater to help deal with the dampness, since it’s quieter that my propane furnace—and I’m paying for power anyway.
In my head I'm refusing to turn on the furnace...my guess is that we may need it to take the dampness out of the pup.
got the trailer 3/4s preped yesterday.. still have to flush the water system.. but swapped the battery yesterday (other got left on the trailer all winter), got the fridge running.. hopefully before heading South today I'll get the greasing done..
I can't finish packing until Thursday now. My insane week has started...Friday morning's road trip will be very welcome!
Jenn: Snow and I just booked Thanksgiving at Mikisew, if you’re interested:
Mikisew Provincial Park. About 45 min north of Huntsville and just west of South River. I prefer the 100’s(electric) and 200’s(non-electric) loops.
Oooh that could be fun! It’s not super busy for work which is nice. It’s our final weekend but we’re down half our routes so it’s a little quieter for me unlike this weekend.
Is it Friday yet??? This week has been brutal and it’s only Tuesday
I hear ya, Jenn. So crazy....and it's been constant rain so all the kids have been trapped inside....looks to be today as well.
Yesterday was intense. Trying to get everything set for our buses this weekend and found out at 7pm that the bus operator can’t find the schedule I gave her in February and she’s likely out of buses on some of our weekends
