Welcome and greetings from North Carolina to the exciting world of Pop-Up camping!

We had a 1986 Skamper 114C years ago and really loved it but sold it before moving to the Washington DC area where the storage fees would have run more than its value in less than a year. I really hate we parted with it. But did eventually get our current Coleman years later once we had a house where we could store it.

The 114C is a great robust PUP that is light weight and easily towed by most all vehicles. I even towed ours with a 4 cylinder VW Golf with no troubles.

I’m sure any issues you have to repair have been covered here or will be answered.

Good luck with the project and post some pics!

PS: Here is a pic of ours from the early 90’s, don’t laugh too had over the shirt.

1986 Skamper. Canvas has a few issues and the bunk ends seem kinda shady. I've read that they can hold 750, but I'm still a bit skeptical. Will post pics when it stops raining.

Hi! I just bought a 1985 Skamper 114C. Do you by chance have a owners manual to your 1986 you would be willing to share? I can't find anything that close and I am hoping the 1 year off will be a close match. Thanks!

If worried about the supports, you could always fashion fold out poles on the corners, shouldent be hard at all. Think table legs on those card tables.

Nope, looking for a manual myself. Look further into my post. Someone here posted pics of each piece of manual. Hope that helps. Good luck, camper!!
