I can’t seem to find a direct answer to this question but is there a guide to installing a furnace in a pop-up that didn’t come with one? We have a 2001 Coleman Cheyenne, there is a spot for it with a connector but no external vent connections. Can I just buy a direct discharge and cut the hole for the external vent and run a propane connection?

You need air in and exhaust out, power and gas.
You also need duct work to distribute the hot air.
Mine didn't come with one but the PO (my brother) put one in.

    Yes. I did just that.
I added the Atwood furnace in the location that it would have been in if provided by the factory.
The power was already there and at the factory location for the thermostat as well.
I cut in a tee under the camper for the LP and piped it up the the furnace.
I cut a hole in the side of the camper for the vent.

When ordering the furnace you will have to select the correct vent length.

As illuded to above, basically yes as there is not a whole lot to installing one. Any reputable dealer should ask/have the pertinent information concerning what’s required to size and fit a furnace to your unit. After that it’s just following the installation instructions. Your unit is new enough that like crackerJacks, the wiring and stuff likely is already there.
