Hello, I was wondering if anyone has put a small window air in a 96 Palomino Colt. I have a 5000 BTU window air sitting around and thought I might put it in the camper. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Sorry to burst your idea, but a 5000 btu A/C will not keep your camper cool on a hot sunny day. You'll need at least 13500 btu to adequetly cool your camper. That typically means a rooftop A/C unit.

There are alternatives to A/C roof units. We have lots of threads about the freestanding A/C units which can go up to about 10000 btu. With popup gizmos and some other insulation, you might be alright with one of those.
