Bought a white RV hose. I tested it out on the house first to make sure all the connections were good.

Do these hoses have restrictors built in? Mid way down the hose there is something hard in it and you can feel full pressure before this spot and reduced after that. It also makes a lot of noise too. I have a brass restrictor as well and the flow was the same with or without it.

Just curious if it's a thing or not.

    Thanks

Sounds like you just have a bad hose or something is stuck in it. If is brand new I would return it. If old cut out the bad part and add new ends to the cut ends. Now you just have 2 hoses.

It's weird, it's in the middle of the hose and what ever it is its in straight.

Just use your old garden hose for now. It wont hurt for one weekend, everybody use to drink from them all summer long.

Yeah, not sure I’ve ever seen a hose with a built in pressure regulator. Now, if you tell us it was $100 then maybe we will learn something new, lol

LOL I have done that a time or two myself. The first time I didn't even know I did it until it thawed out. I had cut a 6" piece off a stray loop.

? Of course that's the plan. I was asking if it was normal. I also stated that I wasn't able to take it back right away.
