Easy to transport, store, cook, eat and clean up. Can do in a DO or a frying pan on stove.
Makes a lot, hearty, tasty, easy. We're all about the easy.

    I like your DO pics!

Makes my mouth water. I've made lasagna in my DO although that took much longer than I antisipated. But oh so good. Pizza is always a big hit and the kiddo liked my mountain man breakfast.

I'm gonna have to check out the Jimmy Dean SKILLETS meals... Hadn't seen them in the WALMART aisles yet...

We eat a lot of stir fry foods... Both using an Electric Skillet or over the open fire...

I came into a camp site one time (Just Me) and had stopped at WALMART food store just a mile up the road first. Got some pre-cooked hamburger patties... Got all setup at the camp site and broke up two or three patties in my big skillet then mixed in some pork-n-beans... Stirring away and next think I know the neighbors dog is behind me wanting some haha... I yelled out to the neighbor camper if it was OK to share with his dog and he came over so all three of us eat it all up haha...

When momabear is along on our off-road trips I usually have a three hour generator run time in the mornings during breakfast... She will fill up my big ole electric skillet with things and do a slow cook while the generator is running for three hours charging my depleted batteries from the night before... Never know what is being cooked POT ROAST STYLE but it is always hmmmm good...

If you look around in some of the food stores you can find pre-cooked meals usually sealed up and all you do is warm them up in something...

Modern day Army rations I guess...

Mike - I'm always looking for something different to do... Don't know why I never noticed the Jimmy Dean SKILLET line... I wanting to do something different maybe with BRISKETS pre-cooked. Just pour out what you need and put bag back into freezer or ice chest...
