I think I would rather put it together myself............ maybe they could sell me a "kit". I know they have to make them fast, but maybe a little more care is needed. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the video. We have a Clipper 106 Sport. This video will help me with the mods I want to do to our Li'L RV. Now I have a good idea where the wiring and the studs are inside the walls.

I saw that I could have run the wires from the left side brake light to the right side without going inside the trailer.

Useful video - not as professionally made as the Fleetwood video but shows more detail in the framing.

That Fleetwood video really highlights the differences in corporate attitude. If I had seen this earlier, I'd be in a different trailer. :(

    I was joking...

I also noticed some using air tools instead of electric. I wonder if that's because of their religion.

Baron.......we have the electric and gas powered, compressor toting, nail gun shooting, Amish on a jobsite right now. They didn't get there in a horse and buggy either. They came in a Ford box truck. To be honest they have nicer power tools than I do personally. And Dewalt and Milwaukee do not make handsaws. [LOL]

And they are good with them. I believe the only place they can't have electricity is in their house. Everywhere else it is fair game

I guess it's only the orthodox Amish that shun all things powered. Amazingly wonderful people.

We bought a brand new 2012 Coachman Clipper 106 Sport last April and we LOVE it. Of course we were tent campers before so we have nothing to actually compare it to, but we did a TON of research on campers (Pop Ups) before we bought and we got a GREAT deal.

    We love our camper!!! [CP]

    Not strictly true.
The Amish will use power tools and technology when they're necessary to get a job done... such as the construction trade, for instance.
They wil normally get a ruling from an elder of the community.

It's mostly in their personal lives that they seek to keep things plain and simple

Alternatively, the people you saw may have been Mennonite.. They come from similar Anabaptist roots to the Amish, and may appear similar, but they don't avoid technology in the same way.
