The neighbor kid did a pretty good job printing up the abs gridding for me. He is making more with a little bit tighter grid. Hopefully it will hold. I have a lot pf cleaning to do before I can go any further. 20190521_115835_compress59.jpg 20190521_115839_compress42.jpg 20190521_152335_compress28.jpg 20190521_152427_compress33.jpg 20190521_154259_compress32.jpg

Please post your progress! That is way beyond the point where I'd expect the ABS slurry to be able to be used as a repair, but I would be happy to be incorrect!! Hopefully the grid will provide the necessary structural support.

I sure will Erik. I have my doubts, but until I can find a new panel this is what I must do. I don't see why it wont work, between the gridding, and the fiberglass mesh, it should be strong enough. It might now be pretty, but it shpuldn't look to bad. I am trying my best to work most of the reinforcement on the inside so it can't be seen. Obviously the big missing piece is gonna be the biggest problem. But I should be able to sand and shape it into some kind of shape.

It is coming along slowly... very slowly.
We leave on our maiden voyage Friday. We are heading to the U.P. for 10 days. I'm hoping to have it together good enough to keep water out. At this point I will be looking for a new front panel, but this will wprk for now. I have the storage box all rebuilt. And most of the inside of the camper is done. We are gonna worry about the paint when we get back. I will post some pictures of the whole thing once I'm done. 20190527_234959_compress24.jpg 20190527_235003_compress20.jpg
