We still get such a kick out of how many pop ups we can count in any campground when we camp, especially the older ones, like the old apaches and chalets that we have seen, but How many Older Coleman Pop ups do we have out there? Even Newer Coleman Owners Don't be shy. Step on up and Sound off.

1984 Cape Cod bought by my dad (before he died), given to my sister, who gave it to me. In the process of refurbishing it to pristine condition.

I would love to see pictures of your camper. We have an 85 Williamsburg. That's neat to have kept it in the family all these years.

Man do I wish we were going to have weather like that here; heck it's snowing outside right now, and we just had 2 straight days of pouring rain! Hope you have a great trip. This is our 3rd pop-up, and have had 2 travel trailers. But we always come back to the pop-up. We may get a newer one next year with a slide-out for longer trips, we'll see.

We are now the owners of a 2004 Coleman Westlake, purchased last month. Prior to that, we owned a 1996 Coleman Cheyenne...of which we gave to our son and his wife to enjoy. We have owned a total of 4 pup's,(during 32 years of marriage) the oldest being a 1964 Sears (only beds, no cooking or sink inside, it did have a 9X12 canvas add-a-room though). We have sold and upgraded along the way...we truly love pup camping!

    To Partsman:
Being that you have a lot of experience with these things, I see you got a Coleman. Would you consider them the best of the lot?

Just towed home my NTU 85 Coleman Williamsburg. Got a few holes to patch in the canvas due to an industrious mouse, and then we are good to go. Oyster Fest here we come.

Well we don't have it anymore but when I was growing up we had a 1962 Coleman Pop-Up(same year I was born)! If you had longsleaves on you could rub your arm on the vinyl bed and see static sparks at night! Memories like the corners of my mind , misty water...LOL Well anyway it was the reason I camp today.I would love to have gotten a Coleman but we got a good deal on a Jayco. By the way Dad took REALLY good care of it, not one rip ,tear or anything and ended up selling it in the mid eighties. Hope she's still out there!

Lisa, just to finish your song..Colored Memories, of the way we were.

This is a long thread! And a good one. We just sold our 2000 Cheyenne and bought a 2009 Niagara to have more space. We bought the Cheyenne a little over a year ago to see how we liked popup camping after years of tent camping. We loved it and spent over 30 nights camping the first season. Even though the Niagara has a lot of options it still has the camping feel. We can't wait for the season to start!
