Confusing words

    Two more confusing words around here are "brakes" and "breaks". Brakes break, but breaks don't brake. Guess it's a pet peeve.

    Most of the folks on this forum do a pretty good job, but it amazes me how many people don't know how to spell or use proper grammar.

    The one that really drives me nuts is people who say seen when they should say saw.
    Correct: "I saw the bear in the woods."
    WRONG: "I seen the bear in the woods."
