Cool Down Finally

    Looks like we are going to get some relief from the heat and humidity about Tuesday here in the Fl. Panhandle. It has been a hot summer (triple digits at times) Hoping it cools way down before hunting season starts. The A/C will appreciate a break too as will my checkbook.

    We got the relief, now it is cold, had a few heavy frosts already. But human nature is that we are never satisfied. If the Govt. could control the weather it would be more screwed up than it is now and they would charge us for it..

    If it makes you feel any better, I just had to move 9 inches of snow off of the sidewalk and driveway.

    Only some snow flurries here in Chicago, no real accumulation yet. A lovely 18 degrees and overcast today.

    On a good note, just recently made camping reservations for Memorial Day weekend so I can start my Countdown to 2018 Camping: 161 days!

    Us Floridians could never understand a lovely 18 deg. :) I spent 2 years stationed in Rhode Island and told the detail-er that if I ever received orders back there they would have to drag me. We had 18 deg here for 10 days several years ago and hopefully never again everyone agrees with me :) . Good luck on your camping trip and happy camping
