Recently bought this 2014 Rockwood and the wife wanted more counter/drawer space and a less back breaking way to get into the pantry (under the dinette seat). Added a collapsable counter top and power outlet where the couch is located and we can put six plastic drawers in the opening. All folds down under the couch so it can still be used if needed. Also added the piston to hold the pantry lid up.

Can you describe how the collapsible countertop works and how you built it please? I think that’s a great choice for using the space.

I'd love to know the specs/source on the piston? I really want to do that to ours, holding it up is a pain!
