    As previously noted.

Back when I worked, any info I had that could not be passed along to people who had no right to hear it, was not passed along. I followed the CFRs. If I hadn't I would have ended up in jail, unlike the rich and famous.

    Hello all,
we are a small team from 5 people who tried to create a tool for newbies who wants to buy a tent on Amazon or Ebay but doesn't know which tent he needs.
It is difficult to choose the right tent if you are not a specialist, you need to read a lot of info about tents, but people don't have it. And even if you know what you need to buy, it isn't so easy to find it on Amazon b/c their search tool shows not correct results. We spent a lot of time to get right results from Amazon.
Our tool is using amazon and ebay search API's. We don't have any shops on Amazon or Ebay and we show all results that Amazon/Ebay search engine returns based on the users answer easy questions for even newbies.
Yes, we want to earn some money b/c we have spent our time for developing this site and tool, but we didn't want to get people from your forum, we are just asking your professional opinion about tool's result. Are they correct based on the answers or you would choose other tents, are the questions pretty good for all (newbies and not) and something else...
    Thank you in advice.

P.S. referral urls don't improve your site rating anymore since last year )

I am not allowed to talk about stuff that I worked on even if it is made public. I signed papers and it was clear that you could never spill the beans even if your project was made unclassified.

I wonder if @PopUpSteve Needs some moderators? As far as I'm aware, he's the only one, besides being the site owner.

For me, it depends on which agency I was working for. But since I am not rich and famous I know I can't get away with broadcasting any confidential info; not that I would even if I could.

My favorite slogan was Admit nothing, deny everything and make counter accusations.

Back to the thread. Looks like the OP is back. But I'll refrain from going to the site.

    As for moderators? That's life.

And I need to clean my new gun and head to the range.:D

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, the best advice I could give is to:

One: Research the forum you are posting to better. This is not a forum for tent campers and there is extremely limited conversation about tents.

Two: Determine who the owner/moderators of the forum are and obtain permission to post the link. The manner in which you posted is too similar to how someone trying to drive traffic to their website would post.

My two cents, take it as you will.

If you can't pick out a tent without a tool, I don't know how you can make it through life.
