I just picked up a 1991 Rockwood 1270 SS hard-side PUP. I have gone through the owners manual and can not find any specs on how big the fresh water tank is. I have looked at the tank itself and nothing. I have even looked for any tags on the PUP, nothing. It would be nice to know how much water we have, so as not to run out .

    Thanks for any info,

If the tank is under a dinette seat it's probably about 10 gallons. If it's underneath, it's about 20 gallons. That information is rarely covered in the manual.

It'll be around 20 gallons when it's underneath. There is variation from model to model and different years.

If you can measure the tank (H x W x D) you can determine the capacity. 1 cubic foot = 7.48 gallons.

Hey there. I know this post is old, but we have the same rare camper and I'm hoping you get this and can help me out. Q: do the hardside walls connect to the roof in any way and raise when you crank up the roof (to take their weight off the beds)? I bought mine in awful shape...having to rebuild the roof. My sidewalls were not connected to the roof when I bought it...but there are small cables that lead me to believe they were once connected. Any insight you can lend will be helpful. Having to climb on top of the walls and lift them one by one off the beds before the beds can be pulled into position is getting old and can't be what Rockwood intended.
