We bought a new-to-us 2003 Coleman Sedona last spring with the intent of me (on a teacher's schedule) taking our two sons out and about over the summer and other school breaks. Now, I tent camp with cub scouts at least five times per year, usually without electricity, so I figured for my new little camper A/C was a must and I wanted it to be a home away from home.

After a few trips this summer, I finally dug in and made it my own. Now it's not to everyone's taste. (My dad no longer wants to borrow it to take it hunting apparently), but for a mom and her two kids with an occasional appearance by my hard-working hubs, it's pretty close to perfect!

A few more. The empty space on the long counter is where the TV and DVD player sit. We don't do fires when it's 96 degrees out in a Texas summer. We do "camper classic movies."

Great job!! We have a 2000 Sedona, and just completed our remodel a few weeks ago!! See the pics attached...

I have to know how you converted the dinette into a u-shape! We were just discussing how to do this very thing, since we don't really use that area as a dining table (we mostly eat outside). Please share your how-to!! [:D]

NIce!! I am planning ours right now. It's going to be on the glamp side for sure, but I figure it's ours to do with as we please!

Looks great AdventureBound! You were more ambitious than I was - with so much stuff stored in the benches, I left them in place and worked around them with the flooring. (Wiring, thermostat, water storage, pump, etc)

To make the "sofa" out of the dinette, I grabbed a piece of plywood, cut it to overlap the benches and then covered it in old foam. I recovered all of the cushions with some on-sale fabric and it was done! The back cushion is done the same way - foam over plywood. It is a bit trickier storing the cushions when the top goes down, but with careful arrangement it all still fits just fine - including every one of the pillows you see in the pictures and my storage bins. :) The old table is stored in the garage for future resale.

I think it will be awesome to feel more at home in my own space. The yellow-gross-cabinet thing wasn't doing it for me. Neither was the yellowed-scuffed linoleum. [;)]

Those are awesome pics! I was hoping to use a similar blue on my cushions. I already bought darker blue folding garbage can and trays to match. Hubby that I was crazy for worrying about "decorating" a trailer. Now I know I'm normal :)

    Thanks for much for sharing!
