    Hello all!

I'm new to this site but not new to Pop-Up camping. I've had my Coleman Avalon for 10 years now (and a different Coleman before that). I've taken it all over the Western United States and to Canada as well. I truly love it. The only way to go!
I am trying to find someone who works on the pop-up trailers in Southern California. The place I bought my camper from is out of business and the big RV places look at you like you're nuts. I need to raise the height on my roof about 1/2 inch to an inch. All the articles I've found zoom right over my head.
Looking forward to sharing stories and ideas with everyone. We have a trip to Banff and Jasper planned this summer and I'd love to get the maintenance and work done before we go.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello and welcome from Minnesota!

What do you mean you need to raise it 1/2 inch? Is it not going up all the way? The door doesn't fit? Need some details.

    Welcome to PopUpPortal

    Try this dealer locator: https://aliner.com/aliner-dealers/

Aliner also make Somerset PopUps (almost the same as Coleman/Fleetwood) so one of their dealers may be able to help you.

Yes, the door isn't fitting properly. I need to manually force it up now, just a bit to make the door fit. Might just need the cables adjusted or something. I'm afraid of screwing up the whole works if I attempt it. Not as handy as I'd like to think I am.

We're down in Escondido. Not sure if they service them or not, but there is a place in Temecula that has pop-ups on their lot. RV Super Center, I think....
