    Hello,

I have a 1982 Bonair with a hand pump faucet. The hand pump works well however if I use the outside water hookup I can't turn the water off. If I turn the knob on top of the faucet the water pressure will increase or decrease but I can't turn the pressure completely off.

Does anyone have any idea what my issue might be?

    Thank you.
    Wayne

You might need a new faucet...

    Hello Wayne
How did you resolve this faucet problem?
I think I have a very similar issue.

the original poster (OP) hasn't been on the Portal since last July, so you aren't likely to get an answer from him.
If you ask your own question about the problem, you should get better results. Here's an area to start: http://www.popupportal.com/index.php?board=59.0

I can't help directly, since we never used the hand pump/city water type of faucets in our popups. (One was broken when we bought the pup, we didn't even try with the second pup, we removed the faucet as soon as we bought it, and covered the sink.)

I had a problem with my hand pump with Key West. I just simply replaced the hand pump... Yours may have been worn out by a lot of use...

Replace the faucet. Easy to do. I picked mine up on amazon fairly cheap.
