Does anyone here have the hanging shelves that you get in the new/newer popups. I have seen them in the new Rockwood popups at our dealer. I would like to know some pros and cons if anyone has them. Thanks.

Pete we use the single shelf above the stove and like it alot. We really load it up with can goods and other food items. We don't have the multipul one it was a extra charge and didn't op for it.

I saw them at Billy Sims for 59.00 and thought that might be worth it. Its hard to keep the popup neat with 2 adults and 3 boys.

I picked up a cheap set of shelves at our local grocery outlet.

The light sort of bleached out the side where there are two net pockets for stuff. Should be very handy.

Our PUP a 2000 Coleman Cheyenne has a pop down bar next to the king bunk on the hitch side. We just hang ours on that.

I screwed the internal frame to the ceiling and discarded the hooks.

There were factory installed U-hooks on our ceiling. This unit from Cabela's has adjustable straps on the top that I connect to the ceiling hooks using two S-hooks.

That is a really nice unit!! It looks like the front closes up so it would be great for tent camping and using outside. My ceiling just seems so fragile that I would be afraid to hang that much weight from it.

I do have one of the longer fabric ones like in the previous picture. I have that one hanging from the flip down bar. For my galley, I'll just have to stick with my shower rod shelves even though they're a pain. I bought some little plastic holders for the ends to keep them from shifting. I'm gluing to the ceiling because I'm not sure if a screw would hold.

Cool!! I love that hanging shelving unit from Cabela's!! That is awesome!!! and would be easy to bring the food into house after camping to prevent food seeking rodents and insects!! Thanks for sharing!! Happy Camping [CP]

It seems to me that anything made specifically for camping or RVing comes with a very high price tag. I've used cheap sterllite drawers and plastic shelving from garage sales or Target with great success. The hanging shelf unit I got from a church rummage sale for $1 and hangs from the fold down bar in the roof. No alterations to the PUP and only about $20 total invested in materials.
