we owned pop ups all the years our kids were at home. Last year we bought one last pop up, and I joined this forum and enjoyed it very much! We decided the pop up didn't work for the camping we were doing, so sold it when we bought a little bitty travel trailer from a neighbor.

long story short, we have now upgraded both tow vehicle and trailer, and are happier than ever campers. (so far)

I say so far, because we have yet to go out into the real remote spots we like to camp in.

anyway, I've missed the discussions, help and activity of this forum! I mean, camping is camping, as you all plainly know!

its a 2016 starcraft AR one 18QB. the first travel trailer was a 2006 fun finder T139. it was literally 13.9' from bumper to tongue. very small! The AR one, is very easy to tow though.

There are many, many portal members that have moved on from a popup. No need to leave the portal; we're campers first and poppers second. :)

Nice to have you back, we missed you!! We've owned two PUPs and still have the 2nd one. We also got a enclosed trailer we use to sleep and move machines in.
