After enjoying a few years with my Columbia, and DW/DS finding out they like camping too, an opportunity presented itself to 'go dark.'

I attend a lot of radio control flying events, and have thought about a toy hauler for many years now, but it just wasn't in the cards, until a very dear friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse on his 2016 Forest River Wolf Pup 17RB.

So after a long drive from NC to Texas, and back again, I have a toyhauler. DW and DS both are excited, DW has a bathroom now (and doesn't mind that it's a wet bath) and DS loves the ramp door. Of course, I live the space, knowing I can haul more airplanes and stuff when I go to events, as well as being less crowded when we are camping as a family.

We are taking it out next weekend, and we are all excited. DW is already looking at more trips than normal for next year. I haven't decided what I'll do with the Columbia yet, but I know we are gonna enjoy the Wolf Pup just as much, if not more!

It's perfect for hauling my airplanes, as well as the Bar Stool Racer, and it's a great size for the family as well.

All the preliminary loading is done, after next weekend, I'm sure we will have it fine tuned for our use, much like the Columbia is. Nothing like a couple nights away from home to really get used to it!
