can I connect a hose to our sink tap and run a shower wand to the outside? We have a hot water tank and the shower would be great...even a spritz is better then nothing.

There are a number of mods where folks have done this sort of thing. .

I would consider adding a Hot & Cold Spray Port, then you don't have to worry about running a hose thru the tenting

    Spray Port

Simple is better for me. A shower wand that I can attach and extend through a flap to the outside and I yell back to the person on the inside...too hot...too cold...etc.

The plastic rock wood tap will not allow a screw on hose.

The outlet of your faucet is called an aerator. Depending on the brand you can find a garden hose adapter.

One of the first modifications I did on my '97 StarCraft Venture was to put in an outdoor shower and single point hot water heater. Likely as not, you can find the shower kit at your local RV dealer. I was fortunate that I could cut into the side of my camper right behind the indoor sink. Originally, I just teed into the cold water pex piping and Q-pex fittings. Later, when I re-plumbed with PVC, I just used fittings from the local hardware store. Looks and acts like factory installed. HTH

I like the simplicity of the hose through the canvas method. Once you get the temperature adjusted, you can have the person inside just turn the water pump off while you soap up and back on to rinse.....saves on water and you don't have to go through the water temperature dance again.
