For all those that are interested, have had problems with these in the past, or are secretly doing so now, perhaps I can help. I have a couple of .pdf documents that I have assembled (one I typed up) that cover pretty much the whole spectrum of the L&W lift system used on most all modern day Jayco (and Dutchman and other) folding campers. This system isn't difficult and these docs have helped many in the past. Just let me know after you look at them if you have any questions. You can download these documents for yourself by following the links provided in my signature below.[/b]

    Hi Mark,

The lift system on my pop-up has just stopped, well one of the columns no longer works. I would be forever in your debt if you would be so kind as to send me the docs you have. I'm flummuxed at the moment.

Hello, It seems I'm having a common Jayco lift system problem. One of my columns won't go up. I'm opened it up and one of the cables was loose while the rest had tension. Could you please send me a copy of your papers. I'm sure they'd be a big help! Thanks

Can someone please send me the information to anjgil@aol.com We just bought a 199 Jayco heritage Laurel pop up and raised it up in the driveway twice to clean it, but on our first trip camping the corner near the crank would not raise....latch was still connected. Anyone have any idea how much a dealership would cost to repair this...or should be attempt it ourselves? THANKS......

I'm having a problem with my lift on my Coachman PU with a L&W lift. I have one corner that will not fully retract and stands proud approximately 1-1/2". Could you e-mail me your PDF write up?

I would also like to have theese pdf docs...I am not currently having problems but I would like have them for reference for any problems I might occur in the future...hopefully none but better always to be aware. I am a mechanic by trade so I really like to know how things work before.

    And thanks Blackwoodz@gmail.com

I would love to have a copy. The crank broke on my 1980 Jayco and I can't get it to go down!!! With a wrench, I can get it to crank up, just not down. Thanks for your time and generosity.
