    Hello
This has been posted before, but I just wanted to remind everyone about the recall on Kidde Fire Extinguishers. Mine from my 2007 Westlake was on the recall list and it was really easy to apply for a free new one. Below is the link and instructions for applying.

    Great reminder!

It was easy for me to get a replacement. However, the new one doesn't fit in the built in spot in my 2014 Rockwood...which is annoying. Had to find a new spot for it.

Yes pretty much all of them were recalled. I bring my own, more in case i need to help someone else. You should still check and replace them every so often, that way you know they work. Ounce of prevention and all that.

Agree, our son is a volunteer fireman/EMT. We have 3 extinguishers in the house that he will bring to the fire house once a year for inspection/re-certify . They have a vendor come in to inspect/service their extinguishers in the fire house and on the rigs a few times a year.

The extinguisher in the pup is not serviceable. Only thing to do is inspect it for wear and tear and leaking.

The replacement I got is the same capacity but is shorter and fatter and it does have a gauge. I decided to cut some of my original housing plastic and install their mount with fender washers on the rear. Not sure if Kidde will ever make the old style again or not but I'm good for now. What we need is some RV makers to redesign the insert for these.

Great idea, I'll have to check mine out to see what my options are.

@ megcabra - great pictures, my replacement arrived 2 days ago, it almost fits the space but not quite. Great modification I think I might do that!
