My favourite TV show, and my favourite vehicle !
(That's a Citro├źn BX, "customised" by "Top Gear" - the BBC version . . I had five of them, all told, and it's a source of great sorrow to me, that you can't get them here in the US... [A] [:(] )

Typo alert! It's a CX, the forerunner of the BX. Clarkson is a self-made buffoon who seems to believe his own publicity.

Not a typo error at all . A "me not looking hard enough at a small screen", error.
It is, as you say, a CX. .. rather smoother lines than the more angular BX, but hard to make out, under the apartment block... If I recall correctly, they tipped it off a cliff at the end of the segment.

... and you're only being rude about Clarkson because they pay him to play with all those nice cars and then say mean things about them. :)

"a CX. .. rather smoother lines than the more angular BX" and infinitely more rust, unfortunately. I lusted after a CX2200 at our local dealers but common sense kicked in and I stuck with my 2CV.

"you're only being rude about Clarkson" - because it's sooo easy!

nice setup. I was wondering if I could tow with my tailgate down but had my doubts, but I see you do it, do you have to watch your turning radius?

Initially it was an issue, so I wound up getting a tow ball with a 3 1/4" drop. So now it's not an issue, and the only issue was really was just the tailgate skimming (barely) the battery box.
