Here's a picture of our rig. The trailer is packed now, so I took it to a scale to weigh it.

Nice Volvo!!! What's the tow-rating on that thing? Does it have self-leveling suspension? or did you install bags?

I love how the top of the A-liner is pretty much flush with the top of the Volvo.

Tow rating is 3000lbs or something. No self leveling suspension, Just standard. I did some careful planning on trailer size and tongue load. Dry it s 118lbs on the tongue and 1750llbs. That is without the battery and 2 propane tanks on the tongue. Fully loaded with water and camping gear it is 180lbs on the tongue as measured. I have not measured the overall weight fully loaded, but I am guessing at 2250lbs. Figure 500lbs for water gear is not bad. Fresh water tank is only 11 gallons.

Tows great. I have the T6 (3.0L I6 with Turbo, for 300hp and 325ft-lbs) and power is never a concern. Stability is good and I got 17mpg towing on this trip of 1500 miles from Phx to Colorado.

That's some good power out of that T6. I'm getting 283hp and 260ft-lbs out of my van's V6, towing 2200lbs and likely more people/gear than you, and I never feel wanting for power.

I'm getting better economy, though, at 21 mpg, when towing. My van isn't as classy as a Volvo, however.

Our maiden voyage, Nov. 10-12, 2017, round-trip from Pensacola, FL, to Tifton, GA. Taken at a rest area near Tallahassee. Looks like I need to flip my hitch over to lower the front just slightly.

Taken in a parking lot behind a NY style deli in Des Moines, Iowa on the way to Kansas City in late September. (Sammiches were good, BTW :D)
