Mama Roy's Tater Soup

    12 Medium Taters peeled and diced
    5 medium carrots chopped
    2 Medium Onions Chopped
    1 1/2 cups milk or 1/2 cup powdered milk
    black pepper, garlic powder, celery seed, and other spices to taste

    Wash tater and carrots,
    combine veggies in a pot with plenty of water to cover, cover pot and bring to a boil
    cook at high simmer for 45 min
    stir in spices and milk simmer 10 more min
    serve and eat
    for a different taste add canned oysters or clams

    Nice , and you reminded me with the powdered milk, they have shelf stable stuff now. So, i forgot about that. When i was a kid it was my job to mix the powdered milk. Man how times have changed.

    We just bought an electric pressure cooker too. The old one (stove top pot, the seal finally wore out ) we haven't used the new one, Rural King had it on sale and since it was the last one we got it even cheaper $32.00 so we could not pass up a bargain like that.
