Can’t wait to take it out! Looking at Christmas week for its maiden trip (for us)!

I have a 2001 12UDST and we love it. We don't have any bathing facilities inside, instead we have a gaucho (couch). It has a lot of miles and places it has been. We have slept 9 people and a dog in it at times. Usually only six now. Still in great shape. We have taken the flip over sink out and don't use any of the onboard water facilities, we just use a 7 gallon tote and tubs for doing dishes. We have never cooked inside the unit, always outside. We keep up with the TLC and I'm sure it will still be going strong at 20 years old.

Making some progress! Hopefully some new flooring and cabinet facing will come in the near future. My good wife has added her tender touch to it!

Looks great, I re-floored and the stuff I used work awsome. It's a vinyl wood plank from Menards. Cheep, super easy to do and 20 year warranty. It's amazing how different it is with the paint and new floor... IMG_20171008_144750008_TOP.jpg IMG_20171029_191811607.jpg

Well, my NTU camper went through it's first rain event last night. I have a small leak in the roof right at a seam. Going to try Geocel ProflexRV sealant on the seams and see if that stops.

I changed the tires in my driveway this weekend. I had the camper raised and open. Is it possible that the seam opened up a bit when I jacked up the sides? I'm still learning about the do's and don'ts. I'm actually hoping that this is what happened and not the alternative, which is that the leak was pre-existing and the previous owner knew it and sold it without disclosing. There is no evidence on the inside of a long-term leak. Original everything inside, but no rotting or soft spots.

Congrats on your new to you Jayco. Roof leaks are unfortunately common in pop ups. Keeping up with all the caulking is key to preventing it and would need to be done like once a year especially if out in the weather. While up there keep an eye on any plastic vents (if any) as it could crack. Not sure if Jayco still has a center seam, if so pay close attention to that area as well. About 8 years ago I acquired a 1990 garage kept Jayco. When I got it the caulking didn't look bad at all and Stupid me assumed it was is great shape and no touch ups needed and immediately parked it in my outside storage lot. Come spring found how wrong I was.

Thank you for the reassurance. Yes, mine does have the center seam, which is where the leak is coming from. There's also a very slight leak in the canvas on the end where the support bars are. It doesn't appear torn, I just think I need to re-waterproof the canvas.
