Picked up 24 meters of 1/2" Black Braided Expandable Wire Sleeve on Amazon for $26.51CDN (shipped).

I've replaced the 15' of 10 AWG wire with 40' of super-flexible 8AWG oxygen free fine stranded copper wire from Ennis Electronics eBay store for $55US (shipped).

I've replaced the 2 pin SAE quick disconnect plugs with soldered Anderson style SB50A style connectors from iLooke's eBay store. Eight of the connectors with terminals cost $15US (shipped).

The SB50 connectors handle up to 600 volts at 50 amps. More than adequate of course, but so much easier to connect and disconnect.

Very appropriate wire and connectors, all that sunlight will reach the batteries.
