My ramp setup

    This turns out to be very effective for my wife who has balance issue going down the steps.

    All I did was building a transition to connect the ramp (6' from Discount Ramps) and the existing step in storage position. She is able to handle this small step. If I have to I can make it flush with the floor. That will be the next upgrade.

    The Handrail is made of 2 pony clamps and some PVC pipes. No glue needed.

    I dig it! I'm about to figure out something similar for my son's narrow wheelchair (which actually fits through the door, surprisingly).

    I'm still working on it....turns out my son's chair can't go through the door after the screen door is installed....
