So I've been looking through countless trailer jacks and not finding what I think I need. Wondering if I'm looking for something that doesn't exist.

I have a welded on snap ring jack on my popup camper. I did the "axle flip" and now it doesn't offer me the range I want. Sounds like a simple fix, right?

I think what I want is a snap ring mount (so I can just pop off the old and pop on the new), with 15" travel, folds up for travel, and has a wheel (or two). 1200# capacity is ideal. I'd be okay with 1000#. Side or top wind is fine.

Seems like it would be easy to find, but I can't seem to track one down. Lots of 15" travel without a wheel. Some that are bolt on. Some that are 10" travel.

Is there a reason a 15" lift jack that is snap ring with a wheel doesn't exist?

Is there a reason you can't use your old wheel on a new jack?

From what I tell, the new jacks that don't have wheels don't have removable stands where I could put a wheel on there. Wheels are available - and relatively cheap - but all the "inner tubes" that have the stand plate appear to be welded on.

Got a picture of your existing jack? Can you extend the length of your existing jack? Does it have room to swing out of the way with an extension?

Well, I could take a picture, but the whole this is buried under 3 feet of snow right now. Record breaking storm has us stuck for 5 days straight now. Crazy!

You might be on to something with the swing clearance. I'll check that when I can get access again.

Have you checked with eTrailer? You can ask questions and one of their specialist will get back with you, normally within 24 hours. [:)C]

Sure did. No response yet. They are pretty great, but I wanted to post it up here to the popup pros. Folks here have a much deeper knowledge specific to these campers for sure.
