I have an older popup and bought a new Dometic bag awning. The plastic guide on the bag awning that feeds into the rail is too small. The opening on the rail is too big. Is there an adapter of some kind available? Thanks!

I don't know about an adapter, but a new rail from coleman popup parts is about $80. Look under the roof section not the awning section.

Just throwing this out there, but can you crimp the rail to fit?

Just a thought....could you possibly get a length of 1/4" plastic tubing, like used for a swamp cooler or fridge water line, split it lengthwise, slip it over the plastic guide, then slip the whole thing into the rail? Dunno if it would work, but might be worth a try.....

Thanks everyone. Will try crimping and if it doesn't work, will get a new rail. Was hoping to avoid putting a new rail on. We just did the roof with bed liner stuff last year.

Is your rail aluminum or plastic? I'm assuming aluminum if you are considering crimping it tighter....

    Other options are:
