LarryinSeattle is my yahoo email addy and my user name on motorcycle forums and probably a few porn sites from years past!

I am in Seattle and my girl friend and I live together and have for the past 17 years. 63 years old and we just bought a 2001 Coleman Fleetwood pop up. I go to pick it up tomorrow.

So, I thought I would do my homework now and see what not to do. :)

I belong to the Goldwing and motorcycle camping forums.

Welcome on board, Larry. Boy, you can pack a lot of gear on your motorcycle!

But it is not a pop up and I am looking to make a change to include my girl friend more. That is the reason for the popup.

I am used to minimal type of camping. The pop up looks like luxury to me, but to my motorhome brother, it is skimping by.

Here is my new bike. [IMG]

    And in Utah:

That trailer allows me to haul quite a few creature comforts. Here we are setup for a week's camping in central Washington State.

    Welcome from the North Sound!

Here's hoping that the rain stops long enough to get some good camping in this summer. [:D]

That canopy could easily be a garage for the motorcycle!

This is the 600cc scooter I had planned on hauling in the back of my pickup for our pop up adventures.

I just picked up my 2001 Coleman Santa Fey Fleetwood today.

I am so excited, I can hardly wait to use it. I have a few things to do. I need a brake controller in my 2008 Ford Pickup. I am too cheap to hire it done, so I am going to research on how to do that.

I setup the trailer and went through all of the systems and they all work. No bad smells and all is good. The water pump works, the water heater heats, the furnace worked and the gas electric refrigerator worked.

    Tires were new last year.

I think I am ready for the summer camping season.

I will have to post pictures when I get it out and setup.

    Welcome!

2008 Ford ought to have a plug under the dash to connect a brake controller without doing a lot of wiring. You just need to get a controller and the plug that matches your truck.

Brake controller is in. We are all excited about our first trip. We just don't have an idea where to go yet.

Is that picture in your signature? I thought something was wrong with this thread until I saw the pattern.

Yea, I put it in my signature. I will take it out once I start adding any comments to other threads and I will put my own pop up in my signature.
