It is AC ready!
I love that vintage shape and the pop out kitchen. Owner says it's "pretty rough" but I see potential there, especially for that price.
Your DH would give you a Big Hug and Kiss if you brought that home for him. Look honey our new project!
Interesting little pup. I agree about the kitchen.
I have too many projects now to add another. I like vintage though.
I'm sure he'd be thrilled.
That pop-out kitchen is cool.....thankfully, it's way too far away for me to be tempted...lol
I love that kitchen!
Believe Starcraft named it a Swinger... would love to see one in good shape!! Wish campers were still built that solid (although heavy).
The kitchen appears to be a novelty never replicated in other PUPS. Seems like most folks don't even use the hanging stoves on newer campers. Something about fire and combustibles(canvas/vinyl).
Will definetly keep both canvas and vinyl in my thoughts when using the stove.
Interesting camper. Sold quick.
Did you buy this camper?
I did, and couldn’t be happier.
Well cool beans. You know you're special now. We're all going to be watching your rebuild.
Thanks Dan! Don’t know what I don’t know, so first item for business will be a driveway test, or something very close. Who knows, maybe nothing to rebuild, LOL.
We use our hanging stove almost exclusively. Never had anything even close to an issue with it... unless you are careless and have a big grease fire there shouldn't be any problem. Worst case I've had the pancake griddle get too smokey and set off the smoke alarm in the pup due to open windows.
Correction: rebuild was just generic as in cleaning, lubing...sprucing it up. Kinda what I need to do too. Hopefully getting onto mine this week with new lift cable (mine was frayed). Wheel bearings and tires too. I've yet to test/inspect the plumbing/electrical/appliances yet. We're both in the discovery stage on our PUPS. Lots of fun though.
Thanks for sharing that as I'm new here and don't have any experience yet with our new to us camper. I'll use ours first and decide for myself before making any more lame remarks.
