We have bought a 1992 Starcraft PUP she was pretty ugly...but we are going to make her shine like a new penny. We are starting with the outside. We have removed all tape, glue, calking, and sanded down the finish to allow us to begin to repair and repaint.
Here is the before and our outside after pics.

Just have to finish the linings this weekend!!

My wife and I are working on a '94 Chalet Aspen (I have a thread in this forum). How long did the sanding take you, and what did you use?
With those colors you will have a nice and bright interior.

Very similar to the '94 Stardust I started with! It was a great camper - hopefully you will enjoy yours as well!

Hi there! The sanding took a few hours with an electric sander. I started with 80 grit and then moved to 120. Before we sanded we used a heatgun and wire brush to remove the decals. We also used a wire brush on a drill to remove the paint from the aluminum trim and buffing wheel to polish it. This weekend we are wiping it all down with mineral spirits and giving it a good clean and then we will begin the process of putting the new vent in and applying the new roof coating and lap sealer. Should be nice and waterproof at that point!
