Removing roof rails after a glue enthusiasts

    The PO must have been a silicone and glue salesman because the rails on my Viking's roof are on so tight I've all but detroyed the trim and accidentally punched through the roof's aluminum a few times.

    Just hack it off and try to buy new rail? It was one of the few good condition things on that lemon and now it's a bent mess. I got the back rail off by damage and force but the others are practically welded on.

    How do you get these thing off?!

    Maybe a heat gun to soften the glue etc?
