There is no shower, no toilet, no kitchen in ours. We modified it for our preferences and have never looked back. We've camped in it from Florida to New Brunswick and from North Carolina to Wyoming, and all points in between, and it's perfect for us. Do what's right for you. Everybody's camping style and needs are different.

The only time there would be a bucket is if it were raining like hell.

Maybe should sell that pup and get one without. That unit is only 4 yrs old. It's value will plummet if that kind of modification is made. Store things in the tow vehicle. Store things in the shower. Your friend is going to find that she does need the toilet and probably the shower with 3 kids.

I have 3 kids as well. I honestly would never buy a PUP without one. Like others said, the 4 am bathroom trips with my 3 yr old is totally worth the less space. I you truly need more space id sell and buy an older hybrid trailer. Or look at PUP packing videos on youtube. There's a ton of ideas/hacks to save room.

Our pup has no shower or toilet. Our TT has a shower we never use. For the pup we got a portable toilet that works great for us. Stash it the the truck or behind the camper by day and at night we put it inside in front of the door. Much easier to dump. We never stay in campgrounds so it’s the porta or the bushes. Shower when you get home. I say tear it out.

Lol, correct but sometimes the rivers can be less then desirable. Went to the hudson a few years ago up by lake george, it had a bad allgie bloom. So , sometimes the shower wins out.

I realize I am chiming in late, but I would imagine you would lose a ton of resale / trade in value with such a drastic modification. People who want to purchase a HW will want the shower and potty to be there.

I have posted this many times. Buy a cheap easy up eight man tent and use it for storage. I can't imagine camping with out our storage/changing tent. We have no clutter in the camper. Makes for a more enjoyable time camping.
