This was a first for us, we just wanted something close on Easter weekend. We saw a cancellation on RA and booked it, #45. Pros 1. Lots of shade on all the spots 2. Easy access to wonderful pan-fish fishing. 3. Not very far from civilization (restaurants, Wal-Mart, bait shops etc.) 4. Plenty of room between sites. 5. Clean Restrooms 6. Water / Power Hook Ups 7. Bike and Hiking Trails Cons 1. No fishing close to the water as alligators are usually sunning on the banks 2. No On-Site store We WILL go back as we liked the overall feel of the campground as it's a FL State Park so it lives up to our expectations. Caution: If you camp along the canal realize that you will be awakened by the zoom of the Bass Boats flying up the channel to go fishing starting at daylight or slightly before.
