Thanks, I am going to try and hobble out there soon to get a picture and a reminder of exactly which wire it was.
I can get you better picture of the plug if that is helpful. I do not have a furnace nor a water heater. Just let me know. Will probably have it closed up by the weekend. More than happy to help especially since there is NOTHING out there.
Time to ditch the ridiculous hatch door and power cord. Should also open up a cabinet inside for storage.
Thanks for all the pics yours is starting to look a little different then what I have.
The snow is almost gone here so I plan to get out to my camper and take a look and a picture.
Ok here is the connector I am referring to. It is the one that was connected to the water heater in the Front compartment. It is a 3 pin connector with a White, solid Black and Green wire. The Black wire is the one I referring to.
Well after looking at the pictures in the beginning I don't think you have this connector or a hot water tank up there.
Looks like I may be opening a new thread about this.
I do have that connection, I will get a picture of it for you. You are correct I have no water heater.
Side is back on and outlet is in and working. The porch light didn't fair well so have to get a new one.
You may be right that connector maybe for something else.
You build is very inspiring I can't wait to be able to start working on mine. It sucks being home for the next 2-3 months and can not do basically anything(I did end up getting 2 screws in my ankle).
How are your back corners? I only noticed afterwords that my rear drivers side corner floor was also really saturated and will have to replace a chunk there.
I plan to remove all the rest of the cabinets and even the slide out to put down new vinyl flooring. I have a friend who has a whole roll for me says it is enough to do the entire floor.
They don't look great but they are holding at this point I want to make sure we use it and then I will probably get the entire floor ripped out and redo it all. Right now just need to get it ready to camp with the family.
do mine, do mine, do mine! I am first in the line for Stang to replace some of my cabinets and wall...
So my porch light was toast due to age so I decided to do the "Euro style" porch light found on Coleman camper parts. I have ordered other parts from them and they arrived quickly. Same with this order I also ordered the LED bulb to put in. After getting wires soldered and putting on the heat shrink. As I was mounting it the top of the light will not sit flush to the side of the camper sticks out about 1/16 to 1/8 inch. Which is frustrating silicone will not and is not meant to fill a gap this size. No gasket is with this light so I will have to make my own. I understand that the side of the camper might be warped slightly but not impressed with this light. Also put 3 new holes to get it mounted as using existing holes were not an option. I will make it work properly but my satisfaction with this product is low.
