Is there much difference between the tall and short sides?
Thanks for any help!
Based on our 2012 Chalet Arrowhead, you get the following with the higher sidewalls:
An additional drawer in the cabinet
A larger refrigerator
Higher countertops, a real blessing
More room under the folding countertop sections, allows easier bed making
And, most welcome for us, additional shoulder and headroom at the dinette
Downsides are minor. We need a folding stepstool to reach the vent controls. Probably won't be able to see back over the trailer with the tow unit rear view mirror.
Specs may have changed since 2012 so detail review the Chalet Inc. website for current info.
NB: I took my own advice and clicked through the current Chalet website. It looks as though the current standard Arrowhead is most similar to our 2012 unit with what was the then optional high sidewalls. We also have the higher clearance suspension. Added reefer fans, second battery, second propane tank, power tongue jack, front storage bin. Works great for our trips up and down the Rockies.
